About Us
A Family Tradition

Fernando "Fandy" Gallegos founded Transportes Gallegos in
Nogales, Sonora, Mexico in 1954.
Fandy was a pivotal figure in cross-border logistics; he served as president of the Mexican Trucker's Union, helping introduce and promote the international trucking industry into the United States. He pioneered door-to-door service, transporting goods from Mexico to the U.S., from fresh produce to manufactured products and became a staple in the transportation community. Fandy's sons Manuel and Oscar worked to expand and establish the comapny as a staple in Nogales Sonora and Nogales Arizona.
Fandy's indelible passion for the industry became a family legacy, proudly continued by his children and grandchildren today.

Today, Gallegos Transport is proudly led by Fandy's youngest son, Oscar, alongside the next generation: Oscar Jr. and Isaac Gallegos. Fandy's eldest daughter, Tonie Peraza -the Safety Manager- is instrumental in the company's logistics, supported by her grand-nephew, third generation Oscar Gallegos.

Nogales, Arizona, stands as a vital and historic gateway for international trade, particularly known for its extensive role in the produce industry. Since the first rail car of Mexican produce crossed the border in 1905, Nogales has become the largest single port of entry for fresh fruits and vegetables from Mexico into the U.S. This century-long legacy has fostered a robust ecosystem of importers, distributors, and transportation services, making it a critical hub not just for produce, but also for diverse manufactured goods and cross-border traffic.
A true staple in the Nogales community, Gallegos Transport carries on a 50-year legacy of transportation services to California, Texas, and neighboring states. This family is dedicated to quality service, always making your business their top priority.

Personal service, family driven.
